February is on and so the season of love. Valentine's Day is arriving and I am sure everyone wants to look the best.Beauty is not a one-day achievement, it is a constant effort with disciplined routine. Not everyone is born "Cleopatra" but a toned body, glowing complexion and shining tresses is enough to boost your confidence. So follow my monthly tips for 12 months and I am sure you will thank me in 2017. Let us start with the month when cupid was born to shower love on us.
February
1st week
Previous months were festive loaded with parties and foods laden with high carbs and sweets. Weigh yourself again..And instead of shedding tears join a gym. If exercise is not your cup of tea, do not worry. Sign up for salsa or any other dance form or even yoga. These days yoga is redefined. But get fit.
2nd week
Before your daily shower, massage your body with oil (you can add 4 tablespoons of olive oil with 4 drops of eucalyptus oil). While you shower use a loofah to slough off the dead shins. I bet you will have a glowing skin in no time. Keep doing the full week.
3rd week
Stop procrastinating and make regular waxing a part of your routine. Keep eyebrows in shape. Indulge in facial and from this year onwards make it a habit of doing it at least once a month especially if you are above 25. Try exotic varieties like chocolate, wine or fruits. If really strapped for cash then bleach your face. A cleaner complexion is an added perk. You can even try this. Mash or puree fruits and apply to your skin. Fruits are rich in alpha-hydroxy acids that act as exfoliants. This will certainly add a soft glow to your skin.
4th week
Go for a complete health check-up; gynecological, mammogram, dental check-up, blood pressure, and blood sugar, cholesterol and eye check-up. If you have already started then great, otherwise please give a start, because a healthy body is essential for looking good.
Follow the regime strictly and stay connected for the month of March. (special on Woman's Day)
